A controlled
growth plan,
combined
with an eye
towards
improvement
and advances
within the
industry,
QFI has
consistently
met the
demands of
aerospace
clientele,
whether commercial,
military,
or government.
1973 -
Quality Forming opens with a
3,000 square foot
facility, as a privately owned
metal hand forming shop.
1983
-
Quality Forming
moves to expand into a new
facility with 15,000 square feet
to start providing full
fabrication.
1993
- Continued success
allowed for expansion to 65,000
square feet, providing full
fabrication for Prime
Contractors, and enhancing
production through new equipment
additions, including CNC milling
machines.
2005/2006
- Having progressively phased in
Lean Manufacturing, CMM,
CAD, and CAM over the previous
decade to keep up with the
growing demands of the industry,
Quality Forming looks to the
future. QFI actively
develops their titanium hot
sizing and aluminum sheet hot
forming processes, resulting in
higher quality and lower cost to
customers. Further process
development is made in the areas
of 5 Axis cutting, laser
verification, and certified
welding technologies. Further investments in support
equipment for producing formed
parts for customers highlight Quality
Forming as a leader in the
industry.
Today

Quality Forming, through controlled growth
has expanded to 5 buildings encompassing 80,000 square feet.
Along with the original metal hand forming
expertise, Quality Forming
continues to provide the latest
methods in metal production for
the aerospace industry.
